This game is in actual fact a third installment of the renowned Super Smash Bros. series. The best part about this game is that it has famous characters from other Nintendo games all amalgamating in order to battle it out and knock the opponents down.
It was intended for this game to be released in December 2007. However, a Nintendo conference resulted in the president of Nintendo announcing that it will take more time before the game can be released.
This date was January 24, 2008 in Japan). This decision was made because Nintendo were in the process of fine tuning the game. It was also planned by the company to converse with US subsidiaries in order to arrange a date for the release of the game in the US. The 10th February, 2008 was the intended date to launch the game in North America.
All of the all time favorite characters including Meta Knight, pit, Kirby, mario and Link are included in the game. A poll amongst consumers decided on what characters would be chosen for the game.more
